Sports is more than hitting or throwing a ball, or pushing your body to the point where it feels like every part of your body is about to fall off. It’s more than that. Your sport can give you an identity, someone you can be. You have an excuse to travel the world, make new friends, and to skip school (but not learning). Being able to go out and play your sport can be an amazing confidence booster. You may get injured, beaten, made fun of, and driven to the point where you want to give up, but you can’t give up. You’re just going through a roadblock on the journey of life.

It can be from a sweet violin or a rubber band. From a professional playing a drum set to an eight year old hitting a tin can with a stick in rhythm, music is a voice everyone, regardless of their language, can understand and speak. You have the power to breathe life into melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and songs using just about anything that produces sound! You can express all your feelings, frustrations, and praise with music. With music, you can simply forget everything, or remember everything.

Imagine being able to tell a human what exactly how, where and when to do something. Obviously, that’s not something you can pull off, at least not without some opposers. Coding, however, gives you the opportunity to do just that, minus all the trouble. While it might take a while to get the hang of it, coding is a way to tell computers what to do and how, with multiple coding languages to choose from. With a lot of practice, you’ll go from printing the words, “Hello World”, to creating video games and more!
